Universal Orlando Resort recently announced Epic Universe, a new theme park at Universal Orlando Resort, the first brand new theme park in Orlando in more than 20 years. The theme park will join Universal Studios Florida, Universal’s Islands of Adventure, and Volcano Bay as the resort’s fourth immersive park. The park will be built on 750 acres, a few miles southeast of Universal’s existing resort property, nearly doubling the size of the company’s footprint in Orlando.
IDG provided master plan assistance to Universal Orlando Resort team during the Blue Sky phase. IDG also studied several different ideas for entrances, as well as for future expansion, and roadway concepts.
