Orlando’s Sports and Entertainment District is an 8.4 acre mixed use destination adjacent to the Kia Center, designed to bring together hospitality, entertainment, residential, office, and retail spaces in the heart of downtown. The development includes a 300 room hotel, conference center, event space, office tower, multifamily residences, dining, shopping, and a vibrant open air plaza. A high tech entertainment plaza will serve as the centerpiece for civic events and immersive digital experiences. IDG assisted with conceptual area development, designing the hardscape, landscape, water features, and specialty elements that define the district’s dynamic public spaces.
