Ormand Beach Assisted Living Facility establishes community as the foundation for design, maintaining 131 units on site. Gardens accommodate specific needs of both Memory Care and Assisted Living Patients. A Sensory Garden uses textured plantings, patterns, and wayfinding elements for memory care patients’ safety and mental exercise. Assisted Living Gardens use plantings, paving, and seating elements to create inviting spaces, supporting community relationships with nature. Ormand Beach ALF also promotes health and wellness by offering programmatic features such as meandering walking paths, outdoor exercise equipment, a multipurpose sport court, game lawns, and raised vegetable gardens to promote wellness. An outdoor kitchen, featuring movable grills and pizza ovens allows residents to enjoy lunch in the adjacent outdoor dining areas in both Assisted Living and Memory Care Courtyards. Ormand Beach Senior Living Community prompts a unique user experience because of its outdoor spaces that promote exercise, robust plantings, dining experiences, and community inspired by landscape.
