Universal Cabana Bay offers it’s guests two huge pools, a lazy river, bowling alley, and more. It’s unforgettable family fun at a great value, right in the heart of Universal Orlando’s theme parks and non-stop nightlife. The renovations to the resort will add 400 rooms, bringing the total number of units for the hotel to 2,200. The retro-themed Cabana Bay opened in 2014. The new rooms, set to open in 2017, will be in new buildings on the south end of the property, adjacent to the current Continental and Americana towers.
IDG was tasked to develop the landscape and hardscape for the area development. The goal was to blend the new design with the existing area, then blend the hotel in with the adjacent water park.
