The Advanced Pediatric Care Pavilion at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital was designed to extend the hospital’s welcoming, family centered environment into an engaging outdoor space. Created for patients, families, staff, and visitors, the plaza features interactive light and sound elements, digital play experiences, illuminated seating, bubble tubes, and decorative festival lighting that encourage play, exploration, and relaxation.
IDG was commissioned to design this dynamic outdoor environment, creating an imaginative space that supports healing, connection, and memorable experiences for children and their families.
