IDG assisted in the conceptual area development for Orlando’s new Sports and Entertainment District in downtown Orlando. The entertainment district will be developed on a 8.4-acre site adjacent to the Kia Center. The mixed-use development will consist of a 300-key hotel with a conference center, 80,000 SF of event space, 420,000 SF office building, 310 multi-family units, a multitude of retail and dining options, an open-air central plaza, and a new parking garage. The high-tech entertainment plaza will provide an immersive digital experience and serve as a location to host large civic gatherings.
IDG developed the hardscape, landscape, water features, and specialty areas in the plaza.
