The “Flower” is a large development, located on the coast of Hainan Island, China. The Flower Landside is the initial, smaller project of the overall “Flower” project.
The project consists of three varieties of residential types: high rise, mid story, and villa products. The project also calls for seven new themed hotels and a new theme park. These elements are all centered around a large man-made lake. This lake will be utilized for a secondary transportation source. A boardwalk and parks ring the lake, providing for pedestrian access around the property. Lastly, we provided a large public park system along the existing highway, which acts as a buffer to the property as well as connection through to the beach.
IDG was tasked to develop the overall master plan for this development. Our firm created the plan and fully rendered it in a short time frame in order to meet a short, client related, deadline.
