Our vision for the Cordova Village Center East apartments is a modern Mediterranean design with an emphasis on movement, creating various spaces that cater to all personalities found within a multi-family community. The community amenity area overlooks a natural wetland preserve, which provides a beautiful view and sense of privacy for the residents as they enjoy the amenities. The rectilinear pool is accented by curved corners and aligns with the central axis of the clubhouse, drawing visitors in to experience all of its spaces. Adjacent to the pool is the cabana garden, where guests may relax within the shaded structures or lounge on the synthetic lawn. An outdoor dining terrace has also been included as part of the clubhouse amenities, complete with grills, dining seating and a fireplace wall within the pavilion. Past the grilling area is a meandering walkway leading to a synthetic turf game lawn and overlook seating venue, which serve as spaces of entertainment for families and other residents. In addition, a dog park with designated areas for large and small dogs is located on the southern end of the site, allowing both owners and pets to interact and experience a sense of community. IDG provided conceptual design, design development, construction documents and construction administration.
